The Idaho Statesman’s Newspapers in Education program, strongly believes that every child has the right to a current and relevant education. Therefore we are committed to establishing community partnerships to ensure that teachers and students have access to a comprehensive and current text: the newspaper. We understand that a student’s success comes from their ability to read, to understand and relate to their world, to think critically, to ask questions, and to become a productive member of their community.
