Web Developer
Become a team member of Idaho's No. 1 source for news and information IdahoStatesman.com. We're looking for a self-starter who can help us keep ahead of the online curve someone who loves investigating and implementing new technology and isn't afraid to think outside of the box. We move at a fast pace here and need someone who can work well independently as well as with groups. Having an interest in news and public service is a plus.
Responsibilities Web development (with a server-side emphasis), database creation and administration and Web project administration.
You'll work with the online manager and online team to support the implementation of corporate and local online initiatives, including advertising and newsroom technical solutions.
Requirements Four-year degree (or equivalent experience). Degree in computer science, communication or other media or business related field preferred. Deep knowledge of Internet, web tools and concepts required. Experience in print or electronic media helpful.
Three years of experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript required. Experience with jQuery, Drupal and/or Zend Framework preferred.
Hours are typically Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., some night and weekend work is required.

Product Handler
Our Distribution Center is accepting applications for product handlers. These are part-time positions
processing advertising inserts. Job requires manual dexterity, lifting up to 30 pounds, and bending.
Day shift hours vary, generally dayside hours (20 to 25 hours per week). Night shift is generally from
10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. (20 to 25 hours per week). All shifts include weekends and holidays. We offer a
competitive wage. Must be at least 18 years old.
